    vegan products list
Where I can find a list of products derived from animals?

I wonder if any vegans out there who know if there is a list Online I can show all hidden and obvious foods derived from animals in one way or another, and a safe list, good and complete products not from animals.

It is much easier to get yourself a list of food additives and what they are ... then learn about the animals based. In Australia I think any number starting with an additive E is likely to be based animals. You should know what is in the food you're eating anyway - if these additives are derived animal or not. There are some real nasties out there - for example, aspartame, MSG, etc.

    meatloaf vegan
Dinner parties! Veggies and vegan ... a question!?

My friends and I Often Have dinner parties, There Are A Few Who are vegetarian, I am vegan. The meat eaters make a veggie option, But When we go to a house veggies, There is no meat. Either I do not cook meat (2 years ago I made my dad a meatloaf, But hey, it's my dad!) So I am Asking, would you cook meat if You Were Having a dinner party? And a side question: When I go camping, I have a grill That I cook my veggies on, make toast etc. When meat eaters want to borrow it for Their burgers and What Not, I do not let them and I think They think That I am anal, would you let someone use your grill for meat?

Not unless I Could to sparkling clean it again ... Which is very hard with a grill. I do not cook meat. I see no reason why you should HAVE to cook meat .. They request unless it. Hopefully They eat vegetables at home, So They Are not really doing you any Favors by making a vegetarian meal ... Not just they're putting meat in it. Whereas you'd Have to clean Everything That Came in contact Until It With That meat smelled 'right' again, or throw it out. It'd be like Asking someone who's Allergic to nuts to make nut rolls for you, or expecting them to do it. While you May Not Have an allergy to meat, it's not something Kept in your house. You know?

    vegan grocery portland oregon
VEGAN Where I can buy groceries in Portland Oregon?

Ok, so I've been a vegan for a month and I'm proud of myself. But there is only one problem, my kitchen is not vegan friendly. So I have nothing to eat, but the soy-nut butter (like peanut butter) and flour oats. I have to tell my mom can do my shopping, but I have no idea. I can get some things like snacks, or Alfred Newman and Myers, but I have to find cheese, butter, butter in the dairy replacement fund. I know I've been somewhere before, but I do not remember where they were. In addition, if I could get a list of ingredients to look for, that would be great. (: Any help? Thanks (:

Portland is a very vegan friendly. Your Store small local grocery and health food stores should be proportionate. But if you're looking for specialty items, Portland is home to the Food Grocery Fight! As http://www.foodfightgrocery.com/ Happycow.net for a list of places to eat near you and buy http://www.happycow.net/disp_results_address.php?distance=10&maptype=l&list [] = & Vegan [list] = Store & address = portlant% 2C + or + x = 13 & y = 9
