    vegan pie crust recipes
    Vegan Pumpkin Pie?

Looking for the world's easiest recipe for vegan pumpkin pie. I can not egg substitute, then all he asks her to leave. Soy milk is also difficult to get .... usually water use (and maybe a bit of a vanilla) to replace what is called in small quantities, but all the recipes I found called for like 2 cups of (soy) milk. I wonder if you could do only with pumpkin filling (boiled and mashed) a lot of sugar (brown? White? Both?), and seasonings (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc..) Moreover, while we're on the subject, to make a pie crust pumpkin, must be a specific type of crust? I'm not sure if I should go out and buy a cookie Precast Shell (which is strangely when they are vegan cookies) or use my homemade recipe for pie crust that I use in a cherry or apple pie. Any suggestions????

1 1 / 2 cups flour (I used organic) 2 teaspoons sugar 1 teaspoon salt (I used sea salt) 1 / 2 cup vegetable oil (I used canola) 2 tablespoons water Filling 1 1 / 2 cups water 1 / 2 cup sugar brown 2 cups fresh cooked pumpkin, mashed 1 / 2 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons ginger 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 / 2 teaspoon nutmeg 1 / 2 teaspoon cardamom FORM 1 teaspoon vanilla CRUST: Combine flour, sugar and salt in a dish of 9 or 10 inch pie. Mix with fork until well blended. In another bowl, combine oil and water. Whisk until blended. Pour over flour mixture. Mix with a fork until combined. Knead lightly on the fingers of 2 to 3 minutes. Press firmly against the bottom and sides of pan. FILLING: Preheat oven to 350 ° F. water Pour 1 / 2 cup in a saucepan. Whisk in brown sugar Heat until almost boiling. Cook medium heat over medium-high heat 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil. The aim is to reduce the mixture to produce 1 cup of liquid. Remove from heat. Set aside. Combine pumpkin, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add 1 cup water. Whisk until combined. Pour in the uncooked pie crust. Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes or until tester inserted in center comes out clean. cool uncovered on a grid of 1 to 2 hours. Refrigerate. Best served cold. Serve alone or with decorated top.
