    simple vegan sugar cookies
    Vegan No bake cookies

I am looking for a no bake cookies. The chocolate peanut butter oatmeal type. However, no butter, I can not seem to find a recipe without butter. I have no substitute at all. I have cocoa, oatmeal, peanut butter [vegan sugar type], vanilla, salt ... Please please help me. Only a simple recipe with no cookies, no butter or vegan substitute crazy.

You may not use a margarine instead of butter? If you do not use grease and you can not replace anything (which often use applesauce as a substitute vegan), then the chances of finding a recipe of this type are quite minimal I'm afraid ... I would suggest some of the communities control LiveJournal vegan, as community.livejournal.com / vegancooking - this is my favorite. It is also a great place to ask this question and request for recipes are all pretty experienced experienced vegans. Good luck! EDIT: I actually wanted find a reasonable prescription, might work for you, I'm not sure if you have all the ingredients. You can substitute canola oil for margarine, or trying to quit out since said he can not replace anything. I am sure that most of rapeseed oils might work if you do. Http: / / veganagogo.com /? vegan stores in portland oregon
    Portland Oregon / tofu question?

Okay, so this is a kind of two questions in one. 1. So I live in Portland, and was in the shop Food Fight vegan grocery and held this sign that said something like "7th friendliest store in town." So basically I was wondering if anyone knew of other stores, so vegan. , Portland [restaurants, supermarkets, bakery ..] In a food fight never ca find certain things, such as bagels, etc ... 2. So I really wanted to do this smothie [but of course has not yet ingrediants], but nevertheless requested that soft tofu "and I have regular firm tofu, I got from trader Joes. Is there a difference between silk and regular? and could replace regular instead of silk?

I do not lives in Portland, so I can not help with the first question, sorry. Silken tofu is the kind that comes in little boxes that can be stored on the platform until it opens. It has bean much less "a" regular tofu taste and texture much softer, making it ideal for use in smoothies and desserts. Mori-nu is the most popular brand, here's a picture to help you find it. http://plumgoodfood.com/images/images/8_22_06/large/3838_MoriNuSilkenLiteTofu.jpg I recommend looking in stores Eastern groceries. I always can find there, and is generally much cheaper.
