    are vegans healthier
    everything vegan healthy for you?

as foods that are vegan are always healthy? Because I saw a vegan cheesecake. didn't exactly like a cake cheese, but it was something like idk what is still healthy?

No, not necessarily. Artificially hydrogenated vegetable oils (trans fats) are vegan, but is that even remotely good for you. Whether or not the vegan cheesecake is healthy depends on what is done. More likely is that tofu is involved - that's good for you. It most likely also are involved sugar - sugar vegan is not better for you than sugar is not vegan! However, it is possible a vegan cheesecake is less bad for you than a cheesecake high fat milk, cheese cake, but never going to be healthy food.

As long as you are planning to meet their nutritional needs, there is no problem with it. Consult a registered dietitian or doctor before relying on any advice from a yahoo forum. I know people who are raising vegan children and are healthy. The American Dietetic Association says, "Well-planned vegan and other types of vegetarian diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood and adolescence. Vegetarian diets offer many nutritional benefits, including lower levels of saturated fat, cholesterol, and animal protein and higher levels of carbohydrates, fiber, magnesium, potassium, folate, and antioxidants like vitamins C and E and phytochemicals. Vegetarians reported to have lower body mass indices than non-vegetarians as well as lower death rates from ischemic heart disease, also show lower cholesterol levels, reduce blood pressure and lower rates of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and prostate and colon cancer. "The key words are ---" well-planned "Make sure you are taking care of nutrition, and you're fine. edit: Re: your q on calcium nutrition, it is useful - Http://veganhealth.org/ green leafy vegetables are good, except maybe spinach, chard, beet greens or according to a doctor - due to absorption problems. vegan diet protein sources
Is there a way to change my plan to be vegan diet?

I am currently following a diet plan that is similar to the real South Beach plan, must call for tuna, chicken and turkey as sources of protein. I know I can get chicken and turkey false, which I used instead of real things turkey sandwich , and as such, and I use soy milk instead of dairy, vegetable and chunks of mozzarella cheese, Cheddar cheese, but what about fish and cottage cheese? Is there a vegan substitutes for things like salmon or tuna salad or cottage cheese? Hmm, thanks. I did not know. I'll have to look when you get home. Possible substitutes of cheese that you would recommend? Jezebel is not just to lose weight. It is a moral / principle thing to me. I just want to be healthy and do my part to keep healthy land. I'm going into a health career and I'm learning a lot about the human body. I do not want to put bad things in my body.

Tofu salad (Tofu mashed with seasonings you would put in tuna salad) is more like egg salad tuna, but still does the job. Cottage cheese is something that have yet to find a sub for. I kind of forgot about it anyway. Plant fragments (if you're talking about food galaxy) has casein in them, of course, not vegan. You are best to eat mostly whole foods and trying not to imitate other foods made with processed foods. Losing weight is to eat fewer calories than you burn. Good luck. :) ETA: I recommend not trying to imitate the cheese to your taste buds change, if ever, but replaces it with good fats creamy avocado.

    vegan meat products
If you are a vegetarian / vegan product that meat (or anything else) does not miss more?

I stopped eating beef since September because my favorite animals are cows (and has been since I was 13) and I love you! It was quite easy, and meat, even now it seems serious. But the only The strangest thing is: Whopper Jrs. were a dollar Burger King and I could fill. however, there are veggie burgers are good, except that they are like two dollars ja. and I am a miser. so just to get a dollar chicken sandwiches. anyway. You know there is some type of food or a meal that you all miss, too. BK should veggiewhoppers! Who's with me? Also. I do not claim to be vegetarian. I know that eating chicken / pork / fish / etc simply do not eat beef. I am asking this question to the vegetarians, people or simply people who chose to stop eating a particular meat / vegetable / dairy products etc.

I began to reject the consumption of meat when I was about 5 because my sister said something about killing pigs. After about two years of rejection by my mom stopped trying to sneak meat into my meals and I continued to not eat meat because it just was not used to it anymore, because I was not necessarily killing animals, I just felt it was rough with my veggies:). About five years after the meat of roads and others began to look really meet serious for me for some reason and I did not even want to touch it. Today I do not want to touch fish, weird huh? I really do not seem to miss any meat product because its been so long and I've been fine without him. When I was little I used to order my burger without meat happymeal in it, only cheese and tomato sauce then fills it with fries. It sounds horrible but tasted great importance to me:) On the way I stopped eating meat and vegetables and almost every day I asked my favorite (Spagetti sauce format). I was soooo rebels and that sugar was almost the only thing my mom could get me to eat. So I lasted about 10 years when I realized my face was swollen and in 15 you will notice these things definietly. It turns out that my body was starting to reject any type of processed foods. That means that nearly enriched flour anything * in it. So to this day I cannot even eat spagetti, cookies, pies, anything with anything artificial in it, flame i cannot have it. I'm Asian and I can not eat rice, seriously have you ever heard of something so retarded:)? My doctor also told me I had ive iron deficiency compensated by the consumption of tofu to help my bones I have: P. I take a pill for oil omega i 369 do not fish and vitamin MEGA:). The sad part is that for me not to puff, I have to eat natural foods. So that means 100% whole wheat, grains, fruits, and finally .. vegetables and meat. I like all the others except the vegetables (unless you want to count potatoes) and meat. :) Yes I'm still stubborn today. As if its because I want to Your body starts to reject processed food, because their hell. You can not eat pizza, Poptarts, chips of all the good you can imagine. You must enter a variety foods in the diet while you are young or it all goes up in flames as mine does not lol. I have to read each individual envelope to see what's in it and 90 percent of the time I can not eat because I'm allergic to something in there: (. I think it's wonderful what you are doing is good for the environment and for you if you know what to eat as opposed to what I did. ps for my birthday I ate a Watermelon lol.
